PipRound Privacy Policy

Slow Turtle (슬로우 터틀, representative 최문준) operates PipRound: Domino Scores for Android. This policy covers the app, its information pages and related support requests. Other Slow Turtle products have their own policies.

PipRound is a scorekeeper for an in-person Mexican Train domino game. You do not create a PipRound account. There is no PipRound game-record server, cloud sync, online multiplayer, subscription or in-app purchase.

The app stores player names, player order, game rules and engine order, scores, unfinished round drafts, game status and dates in its private local storage. These records provide totals, corrections, Undo, history and resume. Use nicknames when you do not need real names.

Appearance, optional analytics choice and backup-export time are stored separately. Google UMP manages advertising privacy choices. A separate local advertising ledger remembers used game-summary opportunities so restarting, editing or undoing a game does not reset the limit. We do not put player names, scores, drafts or file contents into advertising requests or analytics events.

Core scorekeeping and the privacy explanation included in the app work offline. Ads, an updated consent check, optional analytics, external policy links and email support need a network connection. The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise location access.

You choose where to save a CSV score sheet or a JSON backup using Android's file picker. Exports can contain player names and game records and are not encrypted by PipRound. A file location or service you choose may have its own storage, sharing and network behavior. Keep exported files private if they contain personal information.

JSON backups can replace the app's current game data after you confirm the replacement; they do not merge with it. CSV is for reading or sharing scores and cannot restore a game. A game backup does not contain advertising consent, analytics choice, appearance settings or SDK identifiers.

You can delete a game or use Settings → Backups and data → Delete all game data. Deleting all game data removes local game records, drafts and game-rule defaults; your appearance and privacy choices remain. Copies already exported, shared, emailed or saved with another provider are not deleted by this action. Manage those copies with the recipient or service concerned.

The app configures its storage to be excluded from Android automatic backup and device transfer where the platform honors those controls. Save a manual JSON backup before uninstalling the app or resetting or replacing your device, and keep it current in case the device is lost. We cannot remotely recover or delete records stored only on your device.

Advertising-enabled versions use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.5.0) and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP 4.0.0). A banner can appear only on a saved game summary when you open it and current consent, connectivity and layout conditions allow a request. There are at most three advertising opportunities per game. There are no ads during score entry or editing, and no interstitial, rewarded or app-open ads. A failed ad does not block scorekeeping.

Google's advertising services can process IP-derived general location, device or account identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. These services can process information outside your country. Non-personalized or limited ads can still involve information processing; declining personalization does not necessarily prevent every ad request.

Required privacy messages are presented at a safe point. Where available, use Settings → Privacy and ad choices to review advertising choices. The app follows UMP's current permission to request ads; it does not treat the optional analytics switch as advertising consent. Device-level advertising controls are also available through Android settings. A consent or network failure does not prevent you from keeping score.

When configured, Google Analytics for Firebase (Firebase BoM 34.19.0) is enabled only after you review the explanation and explicitly turn it on. You can use the scorekeeper without enabling it. The app sends only fixed categories for successful feature use, backup results, error codes and advertising callbacks, with screen and app-version information. It does not send player names, scores, custom engine lists, game identifiers, drafts or exported file contents, and it does not set a user ID.

With analytics enabled, the SDK also processes installation identifiers, app and device information, approximate geography and automatically generated lifecycle or advertising events. PipRound disables Analytics advertising-ID collection and advertising-personalization signals in its app configuration. This does not disable the separate information processing needed by AdMob.

Turning usage analytics off stops Analytics collection and resets its local app analytics data. Information already sent is not immediately deleted from Google's servers by this switch. We do not queue your pre-consent activity for later sending. PipRound does not use Firebase Authentication, a Firebase game database or Firebase Crashlytics. Google Play may separately provide platform crash and installation reports under its own policies.

If you email us, we receive your reply address, message and anything you choose to attach. We use this information to answer, investigate the issue and handle related privacy requests. The app may prepare its name, version and Android version in an email draft; you review and send it. Game records are not attached automatically.

Send a brief description, app version, device model and steps to reproduce the problem. Do not send passwords, device PINs, identity documents or unredacted game backups. Company email is handled through Google's email service and may be processed in other countries under its policies.

Local game records remain until you delete or replace them, or the app's storage is removed. Privacy preferences remain until changed or app storage is removed. External exports remain where you saved or shared them. Google's services retain their records according to the applicable service settings and policies; stopping collection does not itself erase past server records.

We keep support correspondence as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable legal or dispute-handling obligations. To ask about access, correction, deletion, a privacy choice or a concern, email cmoonjun11@gmail.com with the subject “PipRound privacy request”. We may ask for the minimum information needed to identify your request. Available rights depend on your location and applicable law; you can also contact your local privacy authority. We cannot identify or retrieve a local game through a PipRound account because there is no such account.

PipRound is intended for adults keeping score for their table. It is not designed as a service directed to children and does not ask for a date of birth. Avoid entering unnecessary personal details about other players, including children. A parent or guardian can contact us if they believe a child sent personal information to support.

Game records use Android's app-private storage. This is not a promise of additional app-level encryption: protect access to your device and your unencrypted exports. Network services have their own security controls. No storage or transmission method is an absolute guarantee against loss or unauthorized access.

These information pages are hosted by Vercel. Serving and protecting a page can involve processing IP addresses, browser or system information and request logs. This website processing is separate from local game records. See the Vercel Privacy Notice for the provider's practices.
